The apps
Four so far. Each is a single file that runs from a disk, asks for nothing, stores nothing, sends nothing, and ends when it ends. They are free and they will stay free.
How Big?
A road through size, from the smallest thing measured to the largest thing there is.
How Far?
A road out of the solar system, to scale, ending where the measuring stops.
How Long?
A road through time, from a heartbeat to the age of the universe.
The Long Way Round
The orbits in three dimensions: their shapes, their tilts, and the gaps between them.
How they score
Against our own standard, with the weak marks named rather than buried: How Big? 21, How Long? 22, How Far? 24 and The Long Way Round 24, out of 24. One sign we cannot honestly award ourselves at all, and the scorecard says which.
